We are delighted you have made the decision to hold your wedding or civil partnership ceremony at the Haldon Belvedere. Here are some handy tips on how to go about booking your special day.
Choose your date
Check availability calendar and email Debbie Parnall or call 01392 833846 to reserve the date for yourselves. We recommend that you don't leave it too late as the popular dates always go well in advance.

Make your provisional booking
We will hold your provisional booking and will send our ceremony booking form and bank payment details by email. Your provisional booking will be held for 7 days to allow time for you to arrange the other elements of your wedding day.
You must personally book the Registrar for your 11am or 3pm ceremony. Please contact the Exeter Registration Service on 0345 155 1002 or 01392 385070.
The Haldon Belvedere is available daily for weddings with two sessions running from 10am until 1pm (11am ceremony) and from 2pm until 5pm (3pm ceremony). We can be more flexible with hire times on weekdays or at low to mid-season so feel free to discuss your requirements with us.
Confirm your booking
To secure your booking the ceremony booking form and a non-refundable but transferable deposit of £350 is required within 7 days.
The balance is due 3 months prior to your ceremony or the full amount is due at booking stage if the ceremony is booked less than 3 months in advance.
Payments are preferred via bank transfer (BACS) and details are supplied when a provisional booking is accepted. Cheques to Devon Historic Buildings Trust are accepted by prior arrangement to DHBT, 22 Clyst Heath, Exeter Devon, EX2 7TA.
Catering or drink service requirements - Janet Unwin:
If you wish to offer drinks - our in-house drinks service via Janet must be utilised. In-house drinks service of £2.50 per person (min charge £75) covers the services of waitresses and the hire of glasses, tables and linen, with you supplying any drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) you wish us to serve. We have facilities to keep your drinks chilled.
If you wish to offer catering - we have range of canapé and finger buffet menus specifically designed to complement your drinks with waitress service included. Please contact Janet to discuss your catering requirements which will need to be provisionally booked well in advance. t
In the run up to your ceremony Janet will send a Catering & Drinks Service form for completion and you will need to update your ceremony form with your final arrangements including guest numbers, seating, catering or drinks and if our commemorative flutes are required.
You, your family and friends are always welcome to visit the Haldon Belvedere when open on Sunday afternoons from Easter to September or during our regular Bridal Open Days (see home page).
Balance of payment
Balance of payment – due 3 months before ceremony. No reminder will be sent.
Your big day
Our dedicated bridal team will be on hand for you throughout your ceremony. Arrange to have your flowers, drinks and music set up within the first half hour of your hire then relax and enjoy!
