Introduction

I have very much pleasure in detailing our menus that have been carefully selected from our small group of dedicated caterers and thank you for considering us for your Civil Ceremony and Drinks/Canapˇs reception. We hope you will feel free to contact us with any queries or to discuss any special requirements that you might have. With upwards of 100 weddings a year DevonÕs flagship venue will certainly be an unforgettable experience. So, whether it is a small intimate ceremony with close family and friends or a larger occasion, with the addition of a Marquette on the side of the Belvedere, offering views over Haldon Hill and the river Exe beyond, we would be happy to discuss with you what you would like on your special day. London Buses, Classic Cars, Horesedrawn Carriages, Helicopters, Harpists to Quartets, Doves to Divas, Florists to Photographers, the Belvedere can offer this and much more.

 

Waitress Service

Your chosen menu will be served to your guests after your marriage ceremony together with the drinks that you will have provided. Our waitress service is inclusive of the provision of tables, chairs, table linen, trays, glasses and corkage. We also provide catering for children if required

The charge per person for waitress service is £2.20 for the standard 3 hour booking. Additional hire period staffing charged at cost. There is a minimum charge of £50.00.

Ordering

Once you have decided on your choice of menu please contact me as soon as possible so that your chosen dedicated caterer may be booked. Likewise if you have any questions or queries do contact me. Vegetarian options available. Many couples will order for example one cover between two or three guests. Please, plan well ahead; itÕs amazing how quickly your wedding day arrives!

Drinks

           You provide the drinks for us to serve to your guests or we can provide it for you. Celebration flutes etched with a sketch of the Belvedere are available. Please make sure you have enough soft drinks for drivers and others who prefer not to have alcohol. We strongly recommend that you keep the selection of alcoholic drinks to a minimum and offer the following guidance from experience!- if it is sparkling all one type; if wine then red or white only; we can keep pre-chilled drinks cool but warm champagne from the back of a car can sometimes be a little explosive! As a guide 5 glasses per standard bottle. If your ceremony is during winter time why not offer your guests the infamous Belvedere Brew, our own warm mulled wine slowly made on the premises - £2.49 per glass.

 

OUR OUR CATERERS CANNOT GUARANTEE THAT ANY OF THE FRESHLY MADE FOOD THEY PREPARE WILL BE FREE OF NUTS.

BON GOUT CATERING

 

Nicola and Tristan are both qualified chefs and are passionate about food!

They run their catering business alongside their fantastic delicatessen in Exeter and believe in using the very best ingredients available, sourced locally and from their own delicatessen.  Wherever possible they will use local suppliers and small producers to keep to the ethos of Ōslow foodÕ.

They are very flexible and would like you to have just what you want, so please feel free to mix and match between menus.  They can cater for any dietary requirement - just let them know. Contact them on 01392 435521 and mention the order is for Haldon Belvedere.

Caroline has been a specialist caterer for over 25 years. Having learned her sauces from the guru Sonia Stephenson (the Horn of Plenty in its hey-day) and struggled with giant saucepans for Raymond Blanc at La Manoir she has been on a learning curve ever since – which knowledge she brings to everything she does – whether it is an intimate house party , wedding canapés or a splendid party for 350 guests! Normally she has no set menus as such – every event is a matter of discussion to get just the right balance – but for her, the important elements are taste, taste, and yes taste! Below is just a selection of her extensive menus. They can be ordered as they are or Caroline will prepare what you would like so please do ask if you want something different or to mix and match.
